Dating Scan - €100

Performed from 6 - 13 weeks pregnant, the dating scan allows you to hear your baby's heartbeat and date your pregnancy.

 

From six weeks pregnant we may use an internal scan to date your pregnancy and show you your baby's heart beat.

From eight weeks pregnant, you can have a trans abdominal scan to date your pregnancy (Please have a full bladder!) 

From 11 weeks we measure the nuchal translucency which if raised is an important marker for chromosomal abnormalities.

 

Multiple pregnancies will be detected at this scan. 

 

What You Take Home: 

  • Printed Report

  • Measurement of the Fetal Heart Rate (FHR)

  • Dating of the pregnancy ( To estimate Due Date )
